New Arrival!

Good news everyone!

Friday 11.30, at lunchtime, our baby girl was born, twelve days prior to what we expected. No less beautiful than expected though. We’re over the moon, although it sometimes feels like being tossed around in a tumbledryer, trying to get your bearings. What this also means is that it may well be a little sporadic between my posts here. I’m sure you’ll all survive.

Until next time, all the best!

Landslide ft Ernesto “Solitary”

Hi everyone. Just a quick brief. I’m now entering into the magical period of time, when it’s only two weeks to the projected date of birth. This date is plus minus two weeks, so that means that today my child could come and it wouldn’t be considered to be born too early in medical terms. So, anyday now, I could be a father. But for you who are not wondering around the apartment here in Gothenburg, I thought I’d share some music you may or may not have heard. Dubstep and I, courtesy of Tim Land aka Landslide. Take care,

Crisp Chart 2

Not that the other chart is replaced, but I just wanted to present a few more favourites.

5 PRINGLES DILL
Being the most obvious international crisp manufacturer on the Swedish market, they apparently do national variantions. We can’t get the britons favourite; Salt & Vinegar, but we now have the swede’s favourite flavouring in a Pringle form pressed version as well. We do like our dill, and I’m fuzzy about how the subject is approached. But hands down, this is a Dillsprinkled spud to be reckoned with.

4 WALKER’S SENSATIONS: ROAST CHICKEN & THYME
The title may even be Slow Roast. I’m not sure I’d be able to tell the difference from a quickly roasted chicken, but even so, these sunday dinner-style flavours work very well any day of the week.

3 ESTRELLA CHEDDAR & SOURCREAM CURLS
Out of production for a long time. One of the many attempts for Estrella to beat the competition - the ever so succesful and apparently never changing OLW Cheese Doodle. In my taste the best of the bunch of challengers. If these were foods the doodle could be compared to a swedish Hushållsost or a Mini Baby Bell whilst the flavourpacked Cheddar and Sourcream curl would be a Camembert La Rustique or a 36 months matured Parmiggiano Regiano in comparison. Foodie or no foodie, those who like flavour in their food should (have) like(d) this.

2 DILL SPINS
Yes, they are fantastic enough to be mentioned again.

1 MARK’S & SPENCER’S ROQUEFORD & SMOKY BACON
I don’t understand how I could ever forget about these, but smoky flavours in all shapes and forms (?!) is a real soft spot for me. The combination with natural flavours from one of the world’s foremost cheeses results in a stunning rustic handcooked kettle-style crisp to marvel over.
